When it comes to truly wireless earbuds, Apple AirPods have been the reigning champions for the longest time. Android users don’t have many praiseworthy options when it is about wireless earbuds. In an attempt to change that, Nokia has brought the True Wireless Earbuds to the Indian market. The earbuds were listed on Nokia India’s official website on February 15 with only black available as a colour option. The earbuds were first launched in October last year in London alongside the Nokia 7.1.

The Nokia True Wireless Earbuds have a metal build with a compact form factor that looks elegant. The earbuds themselves are lightweight with each bud weighing only 5 grams. For connectivity, the wireless earbuds use Bluetooth 5.0 technology which provides it with seamless multi-device pairing support. Also, Bluetooth 5.0 technology offers a longer range in comparison to older Bluetooth versions. Another noteworthy feature of the wireless earbuds is its IPX4 rating which makes it sweat and splash resistant. According to Nokia, the earbuds offer 3.5 hours of music playback and  4 hours of talk time on a single charge. Also, its carrying case has an inbuilt battery which can provide the earbuds with an additional 14 and 16 hours of music playback and talk time respectively.

The carrying case features a USB Type-C port for charging, and also a LED charge indicator for easier accessibility. The Nokia True Wireless Earbuds have 3 different earbud sizes in the box, in S, M, and L respectively. These earbuds, though listed on the website, aren’t available to buy as of writing this story. The listing price of the earbuds on the website is Rs 9,999. In comparison, the Apple AirPods retail in India for Rs 11,999.
