OnePlus has been known to refresh its smartphone lineup rather swiftly. It launched the OnePlus 3T a few months after the launch of the OnePlus 3 and followed the same strategy with the OnePlus 5 and 5T. One smartphone that has not seen a successor yet is the OnePlus. Once again, a OnePlus device is going to be made available in an invite-free way. On 8th of January, consumers can buy the OnePlus X limited edition Ceramic variant minus an invite. However it will be available only in selected locations.The phone will be available at some French Connection stores in Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad between 7 to 9 PM. Additionally, there will be a 10% discount on the smartphone. The first 50 buyers would also get a gift bag that includes a voucher of Rs. 500 by the retailer.

There’s some exciting news in store for OnePlus fans in India. The company has announced the launch of a colour variant for OnePlus X. It’s called the Champagne and is a beautiful white and gold version of the handset.

OnePlus X Champagne goes on sale starting at midnight tonight on Amazon. This new variant joins OnePlus X Onyx. It can be bought by using existing OnePlus X invites which can be redeemed both for the Onyx and the Champagne versions.

OnePlus X Ceramic limited edition goes on sale starting today. However, needless to say, an invite would be needed for the purchase. A standard OnePlus X invite won’t work though, it has to be a specific Ceramic variant invite that would let you buy the phone.

A new OS is on its way to the OnePlus X, and no, it won’t be a new Android update. Instead, OnePlus X owners will be receiving a new Oxygen OS update that promises to bring several enhancements to the MicroSD card support.

The latest Oxygen OS 2.1.3 will bring UX improvements, along with exFAT SD card support, and the ability to move apps to and from the card. It also fixes a bug that caused the handset to reboot whenever you removed the SD card.

The OnePlus X has been around for some time now, but there’s a new version that will soon hit the streets. OnePlus has announced that apart from the glass back variant, they will also be releasing an exclusive ceramic edition of the OnePlus X. Reports suggest that this new version should become available on the 24th of November 2015.

The Ceramic Edition will cost 269 British Pounds (Rs. 27,015) or 369 Euros (Rs. 25,976) depending on where you are. Only 10,000 units of this phone will be produced and will not be available for sale in North America.
