Samsung’s new Galaxy C7 Pro is quite similar in specifications to the Moto Z Play and the Micromax Dual 5 which was recently launched in India. Lets take a look at the specifications of the phones.

The Micromax Dual 5 gets it’s name from the dual camera setup at the back. The phones sports two 13 MP Sony sensors. Of the sensors one is a colour and one a monochrome sensor, you also get F / 1.8 aperture and a Pixel size of 1.12u. The camera setup also has PDAF and a Corning glass lens surface with a 6 lens type structure and a dedicated color temperature sensor which allows for accurate colour in the images.

Micromax subsidiary Yu Televentures will launch their next flagship the YU YUnicorn on the 19th of this month according to the official invite the company just sent out.
The phone is expected to be the YU 5330 and may not run Cyanogen due to the recent launch of Lenovo Zuk Z1, which is the current exclusive for India.
According to rumours the phone is expected to have a metal body and run on the Helio P10 chipset just like the Meizu M3 Note launched today. The Yunicorn is also expected to have 4 GB of RAM and a Full HD display of a possible 5.5 inch screen size.

Micromax has launched a whole lot of new phones at today’s launch, led by the Canvas 6 and Canvas 6 Pro their new flagships.
The new Canvas 6 comes with a metal unibody design and a fingerprint sensor on the back. While the Canvas 6 Pro features a Plastic body and is missing the fingerprint scanner. Both phones have a 5.5-inch 1080p display. While the Canvas 6 runs on a MediaTek chipset of an unknown moniker, the 6 Pro runs on an Helio X10 chipset. The Canvas 6 sports 3GB RAM, 32GB internal memory, whereas funnily the Canvas 6 Pro has 4 GB of RAM but lower stage at just 16 GB.

Micromax’s new entrant into the smartphone rat race, is not really new. The Micromax Canvas Sliver 5 is the Indian manufacturer’s slim device to take on the other slim phones. The upside, the Canvas Sliver 5 is 5.1mm end to end with no bumps or depressions. The frame is made from Aircraft grade aluminium and the front as well as the back is glass.
Specs wise, a few disappointments can be made out easy. For the price of Rs. 17,999, Micromax has included a Snapdragon 410 chipset, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB non-expandable storage and an 8 MP camera.
