Xiaomi’s stock Android phone Mi A1 is due for an update and it seems like the date is not too far away. As of now, the Mi Mix 2S is the only model in Xiaomi’s phone line up that has received the Android 9 update. The Mi A1 running an Android 9 Pie has been spotted on the GeekBench database. It is also noteworthy that the recently launched Mi A2, which also runs on Android One, features Android Oreo.

Xiaomi has launched its limited edition Red colour variant of the Xiaomi Mi A1 in India at a price of Rs. 13999. Xiaomi recently launched the Red edition of the Mi A1 in Indonesia a few days back.
