Xiaomi may soon be following Motorola in putting a 200-megapixel camera in an upcoming smart phone, as it seems that the former is working in the tech too. Reports claim that there is another phone that will launch with a 200-megapixel sensor. Said phone will also feature a 120Hz display, 5,000 mAh battery, and a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.

While the leak didn’t name the brand, some speculate that it is a Xiaomi phone. More specifically, the Redmi K50S Pro or the Xiaomi 12T Pro. Both may end up being the same phone, just different names for different regions.

Chinese technology giant Xiaomi has announced that it will launch two new smartphones under its Redmi sub-brand on the 29th of August. These devices are confirmed to be the Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro and will be the successors of the Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro announced earlier this year. A few weeks before the official launch, the company has been revealing details about the handsets by a series of teasers. While most of the information about them was known, their pricing remained shrouded in mystery. Chinese conglomerate, Xiaomi is bracing for the launch of Redmi Note 8 smartphone lineup which will be unveiled on the 29th of August. As the launch date of the handsets near, the company keeps on sharing more details about them.
