9t05 mac and iFixyouri are reporting that they have spares for the new and upcoming version of the iPad. Namely the display for the iPad2. A 9to5Mac commenter claims to have deciphered the part number to reveal its LG Phillips 9.7-inch XGA 1024 x 768 H-IPS display origins (same resolution as the current iPad, if true). These could also just be newer versions of spares for the existing lineup.

Well, if these ARE spares for ipad 2, I wonder how they’re gonna justify their retina display which was available on the iphone since last summers! So, apparently, the ipad doesn’t need a pixel-packed display while the iphone does? Then again, Apple likes to dictate it terms to consumers with their propriety technology and closed environment! Suck it Steve! Yeah, firewire sucks balls and SD cards have been available for years now! Oh yeah, Bluray is a bag of hurt just because you didn’t support it from day one. If only your ego was as big as my youknowwhat!
Then again, this is all based on speculation! I just want a high-res display on the ipad!
