Moto Z and MotoMods leaked ahead of June 9th Launch

Moto Z

Rumors claim that Motorola will ditch the X branding this year and launch the Moto Z with variants similar to last year Moto Z Style and Moto Z Play.

Industry tipster @evleaks has leaked two images of the upcoming launch one showcasing the phones, and the other of the Mods which are replaceable back panels which will add new features to the phones.

By the looks of it one appears to be a kickstand and the other a camera module. The first one is expected to be a battery Mod. VentureBeat claims that MotoMods line will include cases with better speakers and a pico projector, other leaks point to names like “adventure,” “theater,” “stereo,” “power,” “style,” and “pro camera.”

Specs wise a lot of info is already available for these phones,  The Moto Z Style a 5.5-inch QHD display, a Snapdragon 820 processor, 3GB/4GB of RAM, 16-megapixel rear camera, 32GB of inbuilt storage, and 2600mAh battery. The Moto Z Play will launch with a 5.5-inch full-HD display, a Snapdragon 625 SoC, 3GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel rear camera, 16GB and 32GB storage variants, and a 3500mAh battery.
