Xiaomi is one of the most recognisable smartphone brands in India. The company has been successful in capturing the Indian audience and have carved a permanent spot due to its aggressive strategies. To boost sales, the Chinese manufacturer is hosting an Independence Day sale in India on Flipkart.com and its official website.
The Xiaomi sale beings at 12 pm (IST) today (7th August) and will continue till 11th August. Furthermore, the company has already updated the online listing of its products with offers during Flipkart’s National Shopping Days sale which is scheduled to kick off from 8th August till 10th August.
Additionally, Amazon Freedom Sale is also being held from 8th August till 11th August. The smartphones which will be receiving discounts are as follows.
Redmi Note 7S & Redmi Note 7 Pro
The Redmi Note 7S and Note 7 Pro are extremely popular devices in the country and have collectively sold over 5 million units in India since launch. Note 7S now has its prices start from INR 9,999 for the 3GB RAM/ 32GB ROM variant. The 4GB RAM/ 64GB ROM variant is now priced at INR 11,999; it means that the prices have effectively been reduced by at least Rs. 1,000 throughout.
Redmi Note 7S
The Redmi Note 7 Pro is now priced at INR 12,999 for its base 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. The higher variant with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage will be sold for INR 15,999 during the sale. Both smartphones are currently available on Flipkart and Mi.com.

In the sale, the Redmi 7 will start at INR 7,499 for the 2GB RAM/ 32GB ROM variant. The 3GB RAM/ 32GB ROM variant will have buyers shell out INR 8,499. The device is offered in Comet Blue, Eclipse Black, and Lunar Red from Amazon.in, Mi.com and Flipkart.com as well. An INR 500 discount has been observed on both.

Both Redmi Y2 & Y3 are also available at discounted rates during the sale. Redmi Y2’s 4GB RAM + 64GB storage is available for INR 7,999, instead of INR 10,999. The Redmi Y3 will will start from INR 8,999 and INR 10,999 for its 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM and 4GB + 64GB ROM variant respectively. Furthermore, Note 6 Pro will also be priced at INR 12,999 instead of 13,999 for its 6GB RAM + 64GB ROM variant as well.

The Redmi 6 (3GB RAM + 32GB ROM) will be available at INR 6,999, and 6 Pro (4GBRAM + 64GB ROM) is priced at INR 9,999. Redmi 6A is the most affordable offering starting at INR 5,999 for its 2GB RAM + 32GB ROM variant.
