Chinese smartphone maker Lenovo launched its latest flagship smartphone, the Z6 Pro in its home country back in the month of April. The device is the successor to the Z5 Pro GT launched last year and features notable improvements over its predecessor in terms of design and performance. While it was expected that Lenovo may introduce the handset in the Indian market soon, no announcement regarding it was made from the company. Now, the latest leak reveals that the Z6 Pro may be launched in India soon, as it has gained the mandatory BIS certification in the country.
About The Certification

It is often seen as a means for providing a third-party guarantee of quality and reliability of the products. While the BIS certification is voluntary in nature, the government of India has made it mandatory for certain products citing public health hazards.
