Xiaomi Amazfit Verge Lite Smartwatch Launched In India
Earlier this year, Huami launched the Amazfit Verge series of smartwatches. The company is a relatively lesser-known name in India but is backed by the smartphone giant Xiaomi. Now, an affordable version of its previously launched smartwatch has been launched in India dubbed Amazfit Verge Lite.
Features
Similar to its predecessor, Huami’s Amazfit Verge Lite features a 1.3 inch AMOLED screen which has several sports modes. It includes Outdoor Running, Treadmill, Walking, Outdoor Cycling, Indoor Cycling, Elliptical Trainer, Excercise and more. The smartwatch is rated with IP68 for water resistance during an intense workout or outdoor activities. However, the Lite version does not sport a microphone or a speaker, so users can’t take calls.

The Amazfit Verge Lite is also equipped with GPS + GLONASS which helps in precisely tracking users physical and sports activities. Notably, the smartwatch promises a large battery life up to 20 days. Unfortunately, it loses out on other critical features like Gyroscope, Geomagnetic sensors and the Air Pressure sensor present on the Verge.
