The Redmi Note 7S is the latest smartphone from the Xiaomi subsidiary. It is the most affordable device in the market currently to feature a 48MP primary camera. It has a glass design on the front and back with an attractive gradient back panel. The handset runs on the mid-range Snapdragon 660 SoC which is comprised of an Octa-core CPU and the Adreno 512 GPU.

On the 28th of February 2019, Xiaomi launched two smartphones in India which include the Redmi Note 7 and the Redmi Note 7 Pro. The former was originally launched in China in the month of January and it has a notable difference in comparison to the Indian variant. The Indian variant has 12 MP + 2 MP rear camera sensors while its Chinese counterpart has 48 MP + 5 MP resolution sensors. The smartphone was later launched in India but with a notable change. Both the Indian and Chinese variants of the Redmi Note 7 have a dual rear camera setup but with essentially different sensors.
