Asus has added a new smartphone to its widely popular Zenfone lineup. Dubbed the Zenfone Live L2, it is an entry level device and the successor to the company’s Zenfone Live L1 which was launched last year. The new handset features a modern design with humble specifications. It was quietly listed on the company’s website without any formal announcement earlier today.
Zenfone Live L2
The Asus Zenfone Live L2 measures 147.26 x 71.77 x 8.15mm and weighs 140g. It features a polycarbonate body with a glossy back panel. The smartphone has a 5.5-inch display with an HD resolution and a screen-to-body ratio of 82.3 percent. The aspect ratio of the device is 18:9 while the maximum brightness stands at 400 nits. As the handset is a budget device, it lacks a physical fingerprint sensor and instead relies on the company’s face unlock technology to unlock the smartphone.
Under the hood, the Zenfone Live L2 is offered in two separate processors depending upon the region it is bought in. The choice of SoCs is limited to the Snapdragon 425 or a Snapdragon 430. While the former is comprised of a Quad-core CPU and the Adreno 308 GPU; the latter has an Octa-core CPU and the Adreno 505 GPU. In terms of optics, the smartphone has an f/2.0 aperture equipped 13 MP sensor. For selfies, there is an f/2.4 aperture equipped 5 MP front-facing camera. In terms of memory and storage, the Zenfone Live L2 is available in the following variants.
- 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM
- 2GB RAM and 32GB ROM

It will be available in two colour variants, namely Rocket Red and Cosmic Blue. Unfortunately, while the company has listed the handset on its official website, it has not revealed any information regarding the pricing and availability of the smartphone.
