The trailer starts with Jon Snow walking through the Crypts of Winterfell along with Sansa and Arya Stark. This is a reunion after almost 7 seasons as the children get separated post first season and embark on their own perilous journey. The three pass various statues of their ancestors. This includes a statue of Lyanna Stark, his birth mother and Eddard Stark, his father. They finally stand at the end of the tunnel where they see their own statues. A frost wave is seen entering the tunnel from the other side signalling the coming of winter.

A teaser previously showcased in the 2019 Golden Globes showed glimpses of the 8th season of Game Of Thrones with the legendary dragon and Daenerys Targaryen making a brief appearance.
The final season will consist of six episodes each of which will each feel like a movie in itself! The show’s co-executive producer was also reported to say that this season is about all of these disparate characters coming together to face a common enemy. They will also be seen dealing with their own past, and defining the person they want to be in the face of certain death. HBO may end the Game Of Thrones in this season but the saga won’t end here. The company has already reportedly ordered for a pilot episode for a new show. The Long Night, a prequel series set “thousands of years” prior to the current show and will be equally exciting.
The 8th season will be released on April 14th and everyone is excited to see ‘the winter’ come this summer!
