Nubia Red Magic Mars Launched With 10 GB Of RAM
Shenzhen based, Nubia has been teasing an upcoming gaming smartphone for quite some time now. In a recent event held in China, the company has officially announced the Nubia Red Mars Magic. It is the successor to the Nubia Red Magic which was launched earlier this year. It is the second smartphone after the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 which is offered with up to 10 GB of RAM.
Design & Specs
In terms of looks, the Nubia Red Magic Mars draws a lot of attention from its predecessor. It has front glass and rear metal build. It measures 158.25 × 75.00 × 9.85 mm weighs in at 193 grams. On the front of the smartphone sits a 6-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 px and a pixel density of 403 ppi. Additionally, the display panel has a refresh rate of 120 Hz which offers a fluid and smooth viewing experience. The smartphone has the Octa-Core Snapdragon 845 CPU along with the Adreno 630 GPU.
For photography, the Nubia Red Magic Mars has 8 MP front camera and dual 16 MP + 8 MP rear cameras. The smartphone packs a 3,800 mAh battery which supports Quick Charge 3.0. It runs on Red Magic OS 1.6 shell which is built on top of latest Android 9.0 Pie. In terms of connectivity options, it has Bluetooth 5.0, 802.11 ac Wi-Fi, GPS, USB Type C-Port and a 3.5 mm jack
The Nubia Red Magic Mars also has dual rear facing speakers and vapor chamber cooling to keep temperatures under check even during intensive usage. The rear also carries a RGB lit LED strip and hexagonal shaped fingerprint sensor.

The Nubia Red Magic Mars is available in three different color options which are Black Meteorite, Fiery Red and Camouflage. The device is available in three RAM and ROM configurations for which the price is as follows:
- 6 GB RAM + 64 GB ROM – 2699 Yuan (around Rs 27,100)
- 8 GB RAM + 128 GB ROM – 3199 Yuan (around Rs 32,200)
- 10 GB RAM + 256 GB ROM -3999 Yuan (around Rs 40,200)
On the whole, the smartphone seems like a promising gaming handset. Sadly the company has not announced anything about its availability in India.
