Huawei Mate 20 Scores A Whopping 356918 Points On AnTuTu
Huawei recently launched the Huawei P20, P20 Pro and the Mate RS Porsche Design in Paris. Huawei has two series of the flagship smartphones, the P series and the Mate series. According to an AnTuTu listing, the upcoming Huawei Mate 20 scores 356918 points, which is an all-time record.
If we compare this score to the latest smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy S9 has scored 241470 points and the Apple iPhone X has scored 226,000 points. In fact, the Huawei Mate 20 is the first smartphone to reach the 3,00,000 mark on the AnTuTu Benchmarking Platform.
Thanks to the Hisilicon Kirin 980 Octa-core chipset, which is based on ARM Cortex-A75 cores. Similarly, this could be the first chipset based on 7nm FinFET architecture. This might offer great thermal efficiency and faster processing power. This processor will be manufactured by TSMC with 2nd Gen Neural Processing Unit (NPU). The listing also confirms that the Kirin 980 chipset will support Bluetooth 5.0.
The launch of the Huawei Mate 20 is at least 6 months away. However, on paper, the performance of the smartphone is very promising and this smartphone could be the most powerful smartphone ever (period).
The Huawei Mate 20 might borrow some of the design elements from the Huawei P20 and the P20 Pro. The smartphone might have the same triple camera setup, similar to the one found on the P20 Pro with a 19:9 aspect ratio OLED display with a notch on the top. However, it is too early to speculate actual specifications.
