Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo Will Have A Dual Camera Setup
A leaked manual of the Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo confirms that the smartphone will be the first J series device to have a dual primary camera setup. Up until now, Samsung has used dual camera setup on three smartphones including, the Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy A8+ (front-facing) and Galaxy S9+. However, the company did launch the Galaxy C7 with a dual camera setup in Thailand, Malaysia, and the Philippines. This also means we will see more Samsung mid-tier smartphones in the future with dual camera setup.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo also has a replaceable back panel with a user accessible battery. Additionally, this is also the first mid-range smartphone from the company to support Bixby. However, unlike flagship smartphones, there is no dedicated Bixy button. The Galaxy J7 series is one of the popular Samsung lineups in India, which hints that the smartphone might launch in India. The smartphone is likely to retail at a price of Rs 15,000+ mark.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo has a 5.5 inch 1920 x 1080 px IPS LCD display. Under the hood, the device is powered by the Exynos 7885 Octa-core chipset with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. As with the most of the Samsung phones, the storage will be expandable up to 256GB via micro SD.
The smartphone has a dual camera setup. It has a 13MP RGB sensor with an f/1.9 aperture and a 5MP Depth sensor with an f/1.9 aperture. These cameras produce the depth of field or bokeh effect, which keeps the subject in focus and blurs the background. The device runs on Android 8 Oreo with custom Samsung Experience UI on top.
