Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Image Leak Confirms Dual Edge and Iris Scanner
The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 may as well be the most leaked handset from Samsung. With new information out almost every day, it seems there is little left to imagination for the upcoming launch of the Samsung Flagship.
Steve Hemmerstoffer put some interesting images of the upcoming Note 7 claiming it to be a Note 7 prototype. The images seem to be pretty accurate. The iris scanner appears above the main display, there seems to be an S7 Edge style dual edge on the display. The phone also appears to be slim and identical in design the to S7 edge with a larger and wider screen. One image shows off the lock screen with the camera and phone shortcuts and 3 notifications. ]
Recent benchmark leaks have put the specifications of the Note 7 lower than earlier expectations of a Snapdragon 823 powering the phone, with information now pointing towards a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor with Adreno 530 GPU, another variant with Exynos 7420 processor was also leaked. The Note 7 will also carry a maximum 4 GB of RAM as opposed to the expected 6 GB previously leaked.
In an internal memo obtained by iGyaan, the Note 7 is also expected to have two new features to in the Air View menu, along with a confirmation of the Iris scanner and a border-less display expected to be the Edge Display. Earlier leaks have also pointed at three colour options of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 with a gold option missing this time.
