A Look Back At Windows As It Turns 30

Windows 1
The first Windows 1 was launched in November 1985 as the company’s first attempt at creating a graphical interface in 16-bit. This was the first software that relied on the use of a mouse; back then the mouse wasn’t a very commonly used input device. So, in order to help people get used to this, Microsoft even included a game called Reversi, which relied on mouse control.
