Apple Secures Property for a Second ‘Spaceship’ Campus in Silicon Valley
After purchasing land in Monterey, San Jose, Reno, and Oregon, Apple has gone ahead to secure land for a second ‘spaceship’ campus in Silicon Valley. The size of the campus will be a whopping 777,000-square-feet and it will be located at Central Expressway and Wolfe Road in Silicon Valley.
Though the exact details of the deal have still not been revealed, it is speculated that the land has only been leased and not purchased. This is Apple’s second project in Sunnyvale, California and will definitely draw inspiration in terms of its design and structure from the first campus. Once successfully completed, this could mean 3,000 extra jobs in the area.
