Xolo has officially launched its first tablet, the Xolo Tab is priced at INR 13,499. The Tab(QC800) comes with a 8 inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels (160ppi). The tablet is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8225Q processor paired with a 1GB of RAM and Adreno 203 GPU. The tablet includes 4GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. The device comes with SIM support and voice-calling.

Music lovers often look for a device that gives audio in high quality, some phones and tablets are already starting to support higher bit-rate standards and Sony has just announced that its latest Walkman will also support higher bit-rate standards.
The Walkman F886 handles WAV, AIFF, FLAC and ALAC playback up to 192KHz/24-bit and has a “S-Master” digital amplifier that Sony claims has been customized specially for these kind of files. The device has a 4 inch display with a resolution of 854 x 480. Walkman F886 has Android 4.1, it has NFC and Bluetooth for connectivity.

Samsung has just launched an ultra budget smartphone called the “Galaxy Star”, putting the company in handset range from Rs. 5000 to Rs. 45,000 for Smartphone Market Segment. The phone is aimed at the basic market, and targets the likes of Indian brands with budget smartphones. The Galaxy Star is powered by a 1200 mAh battery and runs on a 1 GHz A5 chipset, along with 512 MB RAM and 4 GB of internal storage. Samsung has announced what is going to be the most notable, rugged launch ahead of schedule in 2013, the Xcover 2. Along with a 1 GHz dual core processor, 4-inch WVGA display all on Android 4.1 with TouchWiz, the device also has a 5-megapixel camera with a dedicated camera shutter button.
The Xcover 2 also has GPS and GLONASS to cater to the explorer in you. The Xcover 2 will also pack a Cardio trainer Pro workout app along with a physical hand strap and mount.

When LG announced the Optimus G they stated their premier device would be upgraded from Android OS 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich to OS 4.1 Jelly Bean sometime “early Q2 of 2013.” According to a press release today by LG they “will begin its global roll-out into over 50 countries this month.” The first country to receive the upgrade will be Singapore “at the end of January,” then slowly work their way through other countries with LTE networks. This most definitely rules India out of the picture for now.

LG Electronics might not launch a successor for its Optimus G flagship handset next month as previously rumored, but it could be planning the unveiling of the device, supposedly called Optimus G2, for the fall of 2013.
Apparently, the handset vendor is set to launch the new flagship model about one year after the official unveiling of the current model.
However, the company is still set to unveil other Optimus devices before that, including a new, large handset at the 2013 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next month, a recent article on CNET reads.

HTC has launched the long rumored One X+ with a minor upgrade and a 1.7GHz Quad Core Tegra 3 Chipset, The phone also has a larger 2,100mAh battery, expanded 64GB of storage and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with Sense 4+ onboard.
The new phone also features “Tap to Go” to pair up with Beats branded speakers and Headphones.
