For those of you who own a Windows Phone 7 Smart-phone, there’s some good news! You can now download Angry Birds from the Marketplace onto your phone. The first time we heard that this game was coming to the platform was in October 2010, even before the mobile OS was launched. A few days before its launch, Microsoft included an image which hinted at the game being a part of the platform. However, Rovio, the company behind the physics game, had not developed a version for the platform.
Microsot and Rovio later made up and the software giant hinted at a 2011 release. The game was scheduled for mid May and then [...]
Terrorist group Al-Qaida has been left without a distribution channel on the Internet, says terrorism expert Evan Kohlmann of Flashpoint Partners. In an e-mail he sent on Wednesday, he said
I really can’t say for certain how or why this happened, other than that it involved apparently separate attacks on both the domain name and data server used by al-Qaida’s trusted forum, Al-Shamukh. That kind of coordinated event doesn’t typically occur by happenstance.
Kohlmann, who has spent a decade tracking Al-Qaida, has said that other jihadi forums have been [...]
China, as a country has banned Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and Foursquare. Its newest target has been the Google+ service, which promises to give a better social networking experience than Facebook. A Chinese Internet Analyst Sage Brennan had this to say:
This was the quickest blockage I can remember … The speed with which they moved to block Google+ was surprising, but I couldn’t be less surprised to see it blocked.
China has discouraged the use of online forums with a political tinge and has been wary of all foreign [...]

Tag Heuer has changed that by launching a super expensive alligator skinned Android powered smartphone which has pretty boring specs, 3.5-inch (800 x 480) display, 5 megapixel autofocus camera, 256MB internal memory, an 8GB memory card, 1400 mAh battery, and EDGE / HSUPA connectivity.

According to a source close to BGR, Microsoft intends to unveil its next-generation Xbox console at E3 2012 next summer. The rumored console has been in development since 2006 and has been carefully kept under wraps.  Earlier it was speculated that the next revision will be called XBOX 720, But that really seems unlikely.
With Kinect already doing better than expected, It makes sense for the Gaming department at Redmond to improve the hardware in the XBOX to bring on the next generation of Consoles which will be ready to handle next-gen Gaming.

The question haunts every smartphone buyer, “should i instead buy a tablet?”. In the past few weeks we have got over a hundred emails asking us this question.
Tablet season is here and its going to stay. When tablets were launched globally starting with the 1st iPad in the United Stated, analysts speculated that the market in India would not adapt to a tablet lifestyle. Today more than 25% of India’s mobile internet traffic is from iPads alone, another 10% from other tablets. Analyst have been proven wrong yet again, but the question still remains a Tablet or a souped up Smartphone?
We shall try [...]According to several reports the Singapore Government is prepping up for  boosting the joining rate for its military services. The govt. plans to provide free iPads to army, air force, and navy recruits in November. The best thing about this story is that everyone in Singapore (men who are healthy) has to serve in the military for at least 2 years. This would mean that the coming generation of Singapore population would be all (almost) holding a tablet (namely iPads).

A small asteroid, estimated between 16 and 65 feet in diameter, crossed the Earth this afternoon – missing by 12,231 Kilometer.
US space agency NASA had earlier predicted no probability of the asteroid striking the Earth. NASA’s tweeted last week:
There is no chance that 2011 MD will hit Earth but scientists will use the close pass as opportunity to study it w/ radar observations.”
Peter Lake blogged from Australia that he captured images of the asteroid streaking across on the sky on the evening of June 26. Lake’s [...]
