Like iGyaan previously reported, The HTC Desire HD is all set to launch in 1st week oF January 2011. On 2nd of January 2011 the HTC desire HD will be announced and will be made available to the Public immediately. The Price at the time of Launch is to be set at about 26,000 INR.

As usual we would recommend waiting it out for a week to pass after the device is available. The Final price to be set for the HTC desire should be in the 23,000 bracket.

UPDATE: Thanks to a lot of fellow member of iGyaan, we have information that the website Flipkart.com is listing the Desire Z for release on the 3rd of January and at a price of 25,799/-

    hi all!! desire z and dhd are available in bangalore at a local dealer in indranagar.!!
    desire z is 25200/- and desire hd is 27800/- INR .

    Considering that the nexus s is priced at 24k who would want to buy the desire hd or desire z? And also http://www.infibeam.com/Mobiles/i-HTC-Desire-Z-Android-Smartphone/P-E-M-HTC-Desire-Z.html It shows over here the desire z is priced at 17k… Am i missing something here?

    This is a good news. HTC desire HD is a nice phone I love to own but there are things that cause hesitation 1. poor battery life
    2. suspecion on #G availability on this phone.reports say tha in north america this phone will work only on 2g not 3g as it misses a freq

    Anyhow HTChas priced it well, this will help them to penetrate in indian market
