Nexus S gets rooted a few days post Shipping
Its only been a few hours since the Nexus S started shipping in the US. The folks over at XDA-Developers have already rooted the device. The Nexus S, like the Nexus One before it, is designed to with a user-unlockable bootloader out of the box — it’s not a magic trick. The Nexus S is also the only phone to currently run 2.3 Gingerbread version of the Android OS.
