iG Update :: HTC Desire HD and HD7
While there has been some news missing about these phones from our site, there is a large and legitimate reason for that.
First and foremost: iGyaan.in and all its staff and members are dedicated to deliver the correct news and information, in no way are our data biased, sponsored or unidirectional. If any single point is delivered it is mentioned. People have sent us hundreds of Emails regarding how these phones were supposed to launch on the 10th, calling the news fake.
So update:
The HD7 was officially launched on the 10th Dec 2010 – stock was already at the distributors on the 7th and they started shipping on the 10th /11th of this month. Including famous Flikart.com .
As far as the Desire HD is concerned, stock for the device is available at the distributors, but no sale or delivery to dealers. There is a huge pricing quarrel over the fact that HTCwants to drop prices come Jan 1st 2011, distributors are asking HTC to launch at a lower price (i.e. 28 K) or stay with the expensive price (i.e 33-34k) for at-least another 2 months. They are doing this to safeguard themselves from angry customers and dealers who will then ask for a refund.
In the discussions today, seems like the issue is to be resolved soon and Desire HD will be out in the market in the coming days. We have some exciting things to show on the Desire HD, we are also hoping to do a iPhone 4 vs Desire HD vs HD7 shootout to help you guys decide the best of the three flagship models for the latest OSs.
