We have confirmed reports from one of the Staff at HTC INDIA, Who are right now at a promotion in GOA. The new range of the HTC Handsets. The HTC DESIRE HD and HTC DESIRE Z will be announced and made available in the Second Week of December.

We are Seriously itching to get the HD for a review.

Prices for the HD are speculating between INR 28,000 – 34,000 (rumored)

and for the Desire Z : INR 24,000- 26,000

I called at HTC call center and they have plans to launch HTC Desire HD in the last week of December and HTC Desire Z later.

Well I hope its about the launch date.

I think the Desire HD might be around 30K to 32K, simple reason is because it has a LCD screen and unlike the Desire which has a AMOLED.

I think that should be a fair reason for pricing.

desire z is about 370 EUR and desire is 440 EUR .htc desire is AMOLED capacitive touchscreen while htc dz is having LCD so desire Z can be released cheaper then htc desire in india

Ok. Most vendors believe this will release next month but not a single person can give a confirmed date or an assumption about its launch / price. So igyaan, you better be right! :-P Cause if this phone doesn’t release on the 10th, I’m coming back for you! But yes, like everyone else I can’t wait for this phone.

I think the most ideal price for the desire hd would be Rs. 30k (anything more than this is over pricing)

For those worried about the screen being old, it’s not a big deal. I’m sure even right now you are using an LCD and not any LED technology for your monitors. And since its 4.3′, its an advantage if you like it big. Also, I believe android 2.3 will bring in support for more resolutions (though im not sure if this screen will support it.)

Lot of media reports of HTC Desire HD and Z being launched on 25th of this month in Malaysia. None for India. Lets see what happens tomorrow.

Hey I agree with Dayson as my local vendor here at Delhi also has the same thing to say, the desire hd and the desire Z are set to launch around the 25th of this month . And this has been confirmed by the dealer. Of Htc phones in Delhi and NCR . So fingers crossed hope it happens now . I am eagerly waiting for this piece of wonder ,.

grey market in mumbai for hd is 39k and dz is 32k. Another shop told me 37k. Clear signs of impending launch

Rates of the desire are surely to decrease in november, the rates are only rumored as mentioned above, most probly the z will replace the desire in terms of price and hd should be around 32, Thats my guess

Sounds good. But 34k would be too much for it. The galaxy s stands at around 28k. A 30-31k sounds fine. And that’s only if it comes with a 8gb+ micro sd.

Pricing seems pretty much around 34 for the HD,

Our Source Confirms the Phones will be released from Warehouses by the 7th, This comes directly from someone at HTC, Source is pretty Solid.

My local vendor says it will launch on the 25th of this month and he was quite sure about it and he sounded aware of the phone.

Either way, that’s great news. Now just try to confirm the pricing.
