Samsung Galaxy Tablet Full Review – With Video + Samples – Video Updated

Since the release of the iPad in January, Many companies have showcased their Tablet devices and future models. But, a few and close to none have kept up to expectations with their devices.Samsung has come probably first, in the race to make an iPad killer device, or an alternate device which fulfills both features of a phone as well as a tablet.
But, is it really a iPad Killer Lets browse ahead :
Build Quality
The build quality of the Galaxy Tab is somewhat of a disappointment, the back is made of high grade plastic, instead of following that pattern, the bezel is a cheaper quality plastic which is not only squeaky, But, also very very fingerprint friendly.
The access doors to the Sim Card slot and the MicroSd slot seem overly fragile and you might find yourself loosing either of them much sooner than you expect (if you do a lot of card swapping)
Apart from that, since the size of the Galaxy Tab is much smaller when compared to the iPad, which makes the tab much more portable and easier to hold. They did have to stuff all the equipment in a smaller sized area, hence the tab is much thicker in the hand and feels really bulky. The weight of the device is 380gm which makes it quite heavy to be pocketable despite the large number of advertisements and reviews that suggest you to do so.
Keeping all the above things in mind. WE RATE IT : 6/10 (since Samsung has proved to us earlier that they can do better)
Features
The Galaxy Tab comes with a whole bunch of features including
ARM Cortex A8 processor, 1 GHz processor
- PowerVR SGX540 graphics
- Android OS, v2.2 (Froyo)
- Standard battery, Li-Po 4000 mAh
- 3.15 MP camera, 2048×1536 pixels, autofocus, LED flash

- microSD, up to 32GB
- 600 x 1024 Screen + Multitouch + 16 million colors

Among other things, Just like most devices today the spec list of the galaxy tablet is impressive, Although they could have thrown in a higher megapixel camera (we give them props for putting in one in the first place, but, why put a smaller 3 mp when you could have had a 8mp, Why Samsung Why?)
Nothing else to discuss here lets move along
WE RATE IT : 9 / 10
