Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7, which leaked in images recently has some more tricks up its sleeve. According to an internal Samsung memo, obtained by iGyaan, the new Note phone, which is already expected to launch with a new iP68 design much like the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, will also feature a newly designed S Pen Stylus. Apart from the physical appearance of the new S Pen, its capabilities are said to have improved, including a newer version of Bluetooth LE which will allow for longer usage and more accurate proximity warnings.
The Air View window which has traditionally basic S Pen apps will also include a new Dictionary and a text to voice Speaking option. A new AOD memo feature, possibly an Always on Demand memo app, could just be an improved version of the S Memo.
The memo also points out that the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will have a borderless display while this could simply mean an edge display which appears to have no borders, or could be a new edge display.
The Iris Scanner, also leaked heavily, will not only be able to lock the screen but also individual folders, Apps, and documents according to the memo. An unknown aspect of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is that the phone also features the Vulcan API, which is already available on the Snapdragon 820 but should also be on the new Snapdragon 823 that the Note 7 is expected to ship with.
The Galaxy Note 7 will have 64 GB of storage and 12 MP dual pixel cameras. There is a good chance that the Note 7 will have the same hybrid SIM tray as seen on the Galaxy S7 and the S7 edge.
